Time and Priorities

We hear about the lack of equality from the media every day.  Equal pay. Equal rights. Equal opportunity.  Equal outcome.  But are we really equal?  If you work out at a gym, participate in 5k or 10k runs, or just look around your work place, you will notice that equality is a difficult concept in practice.

There is one element of life where we are all equal.  There is one part of life, one “comodity”,  that money can’t buy more of and no one can take from us.

We all have 24 hours in a day.  No less.  No more.  The number of days we have are limited, but the length of a day is the same for everyone.  It is what you do with your 24 hours that makes you who you are!  And what you do in those precious 24 hours defines your priorities.

When was the last time you told someone, “I don’t have time for that.” or “I just ran out of time today.”?   What you are really saying is, “That wasn’t my priority.”

What are your priorities?  Where does personal health rank in your list of priorities?  I suggest to you that your personal health and fitness should be at the top of your priority list.  Without good health and fitness it is difficult to play with your children or grandchildren.  Without good health and fitness your professional life is at risk.  Your love life will suffer.  You will be a burden to others, not a benefit.

Put health and fitness at the top of your priority list.  Schedule health and fitness first and meet your schedule.  Your life will be better for it!

Make the most of your day.  Use your time wisely and get your priorities in order!
